I am a wife, mom, retired elementary school teacher, and life-long abstract art lover.

I occasionally would create paintings to decorate our homes over the years but didn’t have a whole lot of time while working and raising a family.  But once my kids were grown and even more so after I retired I was able pick it up again. 

Colors, or more specifically, bright colors are usually my go to choice when creating a piece.    I love painting abstract pieces that have interesting patterns that can spark the imagination and joy in viewers.  Anything with beautiful colors to brighten a space.  I am inspired by the gorgeous colors of flowers that frequently somehow find their way onto my canvases.

These types of paintings are created by mixing paints with a variety of mediums that help the paint flow.  The artist may use one or a combination of techniques  to create each unique painting which can only be duplicated by photo.
